Welcome Ladies, and Gents!

Hello all, my name is Beanz, and I have been a part of DegensClub since the first tennis Pick The Draw. I have since joined their discord server, and have settled in nicely over the past year or so, even winning the odds competition at Montreal this year. In that discord server I have been shadowing blurryturtle and making my own take on writeups called “Beanzup Roundup” where I read blurryturtle’s journal, and I add my own comments and thoughts on his writeups. I was then asked if I wanted my own journal section on the DegensClub page, and I was honored. The thought of my writing, on a page, right next to tennis mastermind blurryturtle was incredible. I accepted almost immediately. Then I thought, what if I was original and did my own writeups as well? Of course I won’t be taking the spotlight from blurry at the Slams, but I will be doing some minor tournaments for the people that enjoy writeups, and want to read them more often. My plan is to use an upcoming 250 tournament or two to get a feel for it, and then moving on to doing the 500 tournaments and maybe the occasional Masters 1000. There is one week in October, I believe that holds 3 500s tournaments, and that is too much to keep up with, so I will be picking one to do my writeups on for that week, but expect writeups for most of the 500 tournaments! I’m gonna be upfront with you guys, I am nowhere near the level of genius that is blurryturtle, but hey, a decent writeup is better than no writeup!
